Laura Trevelyan 

Laura joined the Brooklyn Board in 2014. She is an anchor of the BBC’s US newscast BBC World News America which broadcasts on the global 24 hour news channel BBC World News. As a correspondent, Laura has reported for the BBC from around the world, covering humanitarian crises and diplomatic visits, interviewing leading newsmakers and public figures. Laura was educated at Parliament Hill Girls School in North London before going on to gain a first class degree in politics from Bristol University in 1990 and a postgraduate diploma in journalism from the University of Wales College, Cardiff in 1991. Laura, her husband, James, and their three squash playing sons frequently host CitySquash team members at their Brooklyn home.
